I received an email back from PS online a couple of days later and proceded to submit our application, which was accepted for communicaitons writer. 76design is also submitting for web design. Many of the other services we offer aren’t covered by PS Online.

Hi Keelan,
I just applied for my Business Number, which is required to register with MERX. My local PWGSC contact was a huge help in explaining how to use it. Ton of info on the web. But you are right, they do very little advertising or other promotion. I just missed out on a nice Health Canada solicitation for one-to-one media coaching. Rats. Timing is everything!

We have registered for PS-Online – and yes – it does work! We have received calls from various departments for alternate format communications assistance on a project by project basis. Although the registration process is comprehensive, well worth it in the end as I have heard from the grape-vine that this tool will become the conventional method for departments looking for services.
